audio-driver-01-en
I did not want to focus on the quality of the parameters, nor on the audiophile sound, because the driver was only supposed to be used in "PA / party" amps anyway. However the following issues were important to me:
- display readable from a distance;
- using digital potentiometer for volume control;
- remote control;
- selectable signal from at least 2 sources;
- balance adjustment;
- remembering the volume level for each input (ultimately a stupid idea);
- positioning the output selector and volume pot closest to the back of the amplifier and farthest from the digital part of the panel;
- for "smaller" power amplifiers up to 300W a power board with SoftStart;
- delayed speaker switching;
- fast speaker disconnection in case of power failure;
- MUTE function;
- fade in and fade out effect when switching in and out of MUTE mode and when switching on;
- direction of all masses;

Main / user interface. Encoder and LED panel.
Power supply with optional soft-start module.
Main driver module. Input and output selectors relays, pre-amp and digital potentiometer.
Prototype module, less LED diodes used. Finally bad idea.
Front panel PCB board with highlighted ground line.
Main driver PCB board with highlighted ground line.
